The Maddest Bar in Newcastle

We have two venues in Newcastle city centre. Pink Lane is at 37 Pink Lane, NE1 4SF — our original bar where it all started. Dean Street is at 10 Dean Street, NE1 1PG — a larger, more lavish space that opened in 2024. Both are open daily and within walking distance of Newcastle Central Station.

Bottomless Brunch is 90 minutes of unlimited drinks — lager, prosecco, house spirits with mixers, and cocktail fishbowls — plus our legendary council tapas sharing board, all for £41.95 per person. Not drinking? Our non-alcoholic option is £19.95 and includes unlimited mocktails, soft drinks, or fruit juice plus the full tapas board. Sessions run Friday to Sunday. Book in advance — weekends sell out fast.

Yes — strongly recommended, especially on Saturdays which regularly sell out. Walk-ins are always welcome when space is available, but we can’t guarantee a spot without a reservation. Booking takes two minutes and means you arrive knowing your table is ready. The people who have the best time are almost always the ones who planned ahead.

Yes. Vegan and vegetarian guests get chickenless nuggets, fishless fingers, chips, beans, and Smilies. Gluten-free guests get chicken nuggets, fish fingers, chips, beans, and Smilies. Just let us know your requirements at the time of booking and we’ll make sure everything is sorted before you arrive.

Absolutely. Both venues are available for exclusive private hire — birthdays, hen dos, corporate events, wrap parties, you name it. Pink Lane accommodates up to 50 guests; Dean Street can host up to 150. Get in touch via our contact page and we’ll put together a package for you.
